Fonts in my EPS Logo!

Please ensure that all Logos sent to us have all the fonts outlined.

In CorelDraw, you can convert all the fonts used to curves so there are no problems while opening the file.

In Adobe Illustrator you can do this by selecting all fonts (command + A) go to type menu and choose create outlines.

What file formats do we accept?

We accept file formats such as CorelDraw, InDesign, Acrobat PDF, Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator. For example, you can save your artwork in any of the following formats; .cdr, .idd, .pdf, .eps, .ai, .jpg, .psd or .tiff files. Please ensure that files are saved in the best possible resolution. A minimum of 225dpi for all image files.

On the on-line proof section the colours look different to my original file!

Because of the CMYK to RGB conversion process, on-line image previews do not accurately portray colour. As long as your files are in CMYK format the colour should be similar to your files but not exact, since your monitor is not calibrated to our press. It would be best to convert all images and files to CMYK at your end before sending to us.

I am not satisfied with the quality of my job. Can I get my job reprinted?

Please send us some samples of the work so we can determine what the problem is. Please send only some samples, not the entire order. Include your order number, a brief description of the problem and address the envelope to the attention of our Customer Service Manager and the problem will be looked at immediately.

Can I get a VAT invoice?

A VAT invoice will be delivered to you with your printing. This is also your receipt.

What is turnaround?

We start counting the turnaround time when we send your order to press. If you order a hard copy proof, turnaround begins when we receive proof approval. Business days are Monday through Friday. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays do not count when calculating turnaround. Turnaround does not begin until acceptable artwork has been provided. Xquisite Prints assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc.

What is variable data printing ?

Variable data is content which consists of text and images (including graphics and photographs) in electronic form. During the variable data printing process, computer applications draw content from the databases and merge it into a document according to rules that specify which elements / data are used and where they are placed. The end result, whether a print run is 10 prints or 10,000, VDP can make each piece different by changing the information on each print.
Variable data customizing increases a document's visibility to the target market and improves the effectiveness of the message it contains. Because the database contains information directly related to the target audience for the printed materials, the document can be customized with specific elements that have targeted appeal to any designated audience.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

We can offer any number of prints, starting from a single copy.

Is there any limitation on the software I must use for designing?

It is advisable to use standard designing software. However, it is better to convert the file to prepress PDF format to ensure accuracy of the product.

What are the benefits of providing a pdf file instead of the file I already have?

Accuracy and consistency are the main benefits. Fonts and images are embedded in the PDF file and provide a much more predictable result when opened on a computer other than your own.
